Better than expected! The metal is solid and thicker than it appears in the photo and won't get bent out of shape. The trundle bed/drawer is not attached, simply stores under the daybed. The coverlet is printed cotton with a satin ruffle around 3 sides (the two long sides and one short side), so it can be used as a cover when the doll is in bed. My daughter puts both of her dolls to sleep here at night, then sits them on it during the day. A quilted placemat works perfectly as the second doll's quilt. Sturdy yet light enough for my 8 yr old to carry throughout the house. Highly recommended!
